This is my card for the Operation Write Home sketch challenge. We are in week 3. You can see the sketch we had to use here. I will be giving this card away on Friday 2/12 so leave your comments here. I use random.org to pick the winner. I would like to hear that some of you have started making cards for OWH too. It is such a great group with a wonderful cause.
What a great take on the sketch!!! Thanks so much for playing along with my card sketch this week!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card! I would love to know what you're using for your "button" embellishments. I started making cards for OWH about 5 or 6 months ago (I think). Actually, it was just prior to the official name change!
ReplyDeleteBefore OWH, I had never even made a card. Now I make nothing but cards & have neglected my scrapbooking. But I'm totally OK with that!
Neat card! I really like it!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am also a Survivor!!
Great card! Did you use sealing wax for the copper "blobs"? They look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! The round embellishments are two different size brads that I heat embossed with copper embossing powder. I don't even remember what color they were, But I put 3 layers of embossing powder on them. Really fun.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!!! Love the heat embossed brads... will have to give that a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card. I love the flowers on the paper.
